Herbal Medicine is a traditional system of treatment using plant remedies to help the body back to health. Its origins lie far back in time, and are documented in the works of the Greeks and Romans, as well as the Anglo-Saxons and the Irish monks who brought Christianity to Iona.

Ethnomedica: Remembered Remedies

Anne Barker, Scotland Co-ordinator of the Ethnomedica project, will be collecting stories of how you or your family have used plants. The archived stories will form a valuable record of how plants in Scotland have been used that will in future be made available online. Drop in and see us on:
